Boat slipway install#
The grant, awarded by the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Funding Board, will be used to install a new dock and fishing platform, replace the wooden pilings with steel pilings, restore the concrete ramp and make other upland improvements to the Point Roberts facility.
The grant will be used to renovate the aging boat launch at Lighthouse Marine Park in Point Roberts. Whatcom County Parks and Recreation has been awarded a grant of $240,000 from the Boating Facilities Program.
